Two Non Commercial Films It looks like superstar Mohanlal has shifted his interest of late. One thing that raises the eyebrows of the film buffs is that he is going to do two non-commercial films this year. He is going to play the role of a Pakistani citizen who forced to take refuge in a village in a new film titled ‘Pardesi’ by P T Kunjumuhammed. It is based on a real life incident that took place in Malappuram district. The film brings to light the pain that people go through in the name of citizen. It would go to the floors on June 17.
The actor also has a film titled ‘Aakasha Gopuram’ by K P Kumaran. It is based on a play by Ibson, and Mohanlal will play the role of an architecture. It also has actors like Bharath Gopi, Meera Jasmine and Nedumudi Venu in the supporting roles and would hit the theatres this Christmas.
