Oru Naal Varum I had watched this movie only yesterday. To be honest, though not best, I liked the film. It is far better than the contemporary hits of Malayalam films. It's just because of bad luck of Lalettan that this film was unsuccessful on theatres. It would have a mega hit had Sreenivasan took some care on scripting, especially on the climax scenes.....I was the same guy who stopped watching a Lalettan film after 5 minutes (Alexander The Great).

Fans should take care If the so called fans had promoted this film, it would have been a super hit....Lalettan fans are behaving like Ordinary film goers who are neutrals when such films are releasing. That has to change in 2011. Our theme should bring Glory back to Lalettan.

LATE One of my first post on this website was about this movie 'oru naal varum'... I screamed to everyone that this is not at all a bad movie, But it was of no use........ It is not the so called 'Bad Luck', Its the mad Lalletan fans who just blindly said that it was a bad film............ Im happy, some one are realising it.. Its too late but... Its having a good feeling now....We should not repeat it in future.... At least for CASSANOVA

No more meesa piriyans! These kind of roles had helped Lalettan for getting "GO AWAY" signal from the family audience. Actually, those kind of roles (especially after 2000), had de-railed him as an actor. We need more of Ividam Swargamaanu kind of films rather than these meesa piriyan roles.

To Ajay... Janakan was not a flop...and you missed the worst Alexander the Worst...Shikkar some how become a super hit! Kandahar, though a flop, will recover the costs through satelite & overseas rights.

Looks I will like to see Lalettan experimenting with his looks, like shaving off moustaches and building some muscles :)

Bring Back Laalettan When i left Kerala to live with my parents 17yrs back as a 12yr old child i was a huge lalettan fan & still am & that time when i left he was the lone sun in the universe of malayalam film industry & he continued for 5-6 yrs like that. But after that his bad days started especially after 2000 people questioned his acting & credibility as a superstar now they suddenly found him fatty & ugly. Come on lalettan fans don't be sleepy bring back the megastar back to his position as the leading man on kerala film industry
oru nal varum problems my opinion... i have seen a lack of dedication in lal in portraying that role. normally he takes a partcular line when he starts enacting a role and stays in that range for the entire charactor. here he seemed to be lost somewhere else in many scenes. sreenivasan shouldnt have acted that role.someone like salim kumar,,jagathy(with confidence of -6 years-now he seems to be compermised in his acting) , would have been gr8 with a modified second half. sreeni is just ok, not brilliant in that role. direction is just average. personally i dont like his vision.
if i were the director i will cast lal as the corrupt officer and sreeni/salim kumar as the police officer by focussing the script a bit more into the corrupt officer .aaa....namukkonnum yogamillallo chettanmare...
and i dont like both idikkaran roles like alibhai, onnaman... .and vegetarian movies like ividam swargamanu, innathe chinthavishayam, rasathanthram. those veg roles are that any prithviraj can do (no offense). we need roles that need an expert professional actor like lalettan. i mean the range of bhramaram, thanmathra, spadikam, devasuram, pakal nakshathrangal, naran, life is beautiful, ayal kadha ezhuthukayanu, chandralekha, kilukkam, kireedam, kamaladalam, padamudra etc etc....
i hope casanova is that type..
anyways O N V was boring to me bcs sreeni was toooooo repeating and boring in his acting. sorry to the one of the best talented film writer ,we mallus ever seen.
