'Chotta Mumbai' is winner among Vishu films: Director Anwar Rasheed's fun-filled film, with Mohanlal and Bhavana in the lead, is the fortnight's topper. Coming after the success of 'Rajamanickam', the director's second film proves that he is here to stay.
'Big B' - This is a stylish film with Mammootty in the lead and is directed by cinematographer-turned-director Amal Neerad. It is too early to predict the film's performance as it was released only on April 14, but the initial excitement suffices to give it the second spot.
'Vinodayathra' - Sathyan Anthikkad directs Dileep in this family entertainer. It also has actors of appeal in Meera Jasmine and Mukesh. The chemistry between Mukesh and Dileep makes this film worth watching.
'Panthayakozhi' - Lal produces this film with young Narain with Pooja in the lead. Directed by M.A. Venu, this film tries to capitalise on the festive season.
old report this is an old report the things changed now.will change again the actual results will be out by next week by sify wait for that. as all films have good reviews the actual winner will be revealed only in the long run just like 2005 onam where naran had the initial bt chandupottu overtook inthe long run.
who told Who told chandupottu overtook naran in collections??????? No never. Naran was the winner for 100 %.... There was news in many medias and also the theater status we knows. And this vishu also belongs to lalettan with chottamumbai. Chotta is far ahead. I dont think vinodayatra will do any magic.... It will be behind chotta. also bigb is starting to suffer after one week initial. It has nothing to see again but chottamumbai people are interested to see again. So this time also vishu belongs to our dear lalettan.... :)
