Malayalam megastar Mohanlal 's passion for taking up new projects is well known.
Now, the news emanating from Malluwood is that the talented actor will figure in an Indo-Japanese co-production soon.
The film, to be produced by Japan's PAL Entertainment Production, will be based on the life of Ayyappanpillai Madhavan Nair who fought against the British rulers from Japan.
The movie will be directed by Albert, who directed last year's Panorama entry, ‘Kanne Madanguka’. It is likely to be made in English, Malayalam and Japanese.
Japanese actress Shunsuke Matasuoka will be Mohanlal's heroine in the film, which will depict Nair's life in Japan in the 1930s.
