It was a miraculous escape for Malayalam megastar Mohanlal.
The talented actor sustained minor injuries while he was shooting for his Onam release, ‘Ali Bhai’ in Chennai.
The incident occurred when Mohanlal was participating in the climax scenes involving him and the villain.
The scene required the villain, Mumbai-based Ariman to fire at Mohanlal. But somehow, the gun refused to go off.
As Mohanlal advanced to find out what happened, the gun went off, hitting Mohanlal just below the eye.
He was rushed to the hospital, but discharged after first aid.The through professional that he is, Mohanlal resumed shooting half an hour after the incident, much to the relief of the worried unit including director Shaji Kailas.
The actor shrugged it off saying that it was all part of occupational hazards.
