The JTPAC will begin staging a variety of performing arts focusing on music, dance, theatre and folk art from Feb 26. Jose Thomas said they planned to rope in well known artistes from India and abroad, including US and Thailand, to perform at the centre which has world class facilities.

Following this, 'Rhythm', an artistic depiction of Mahatma Gandhi's dream 'Unity in Diversity' would be staged by a team of 65 artistes from around the world, Mohanlal said. The show will be a fusion of three forms of classical music of the world -- Carnatic, Hindustani and Western classical and a unique blend of traditional and contemporary dances of India.
