Mohanlal and Blessy, the two talents are going to team up again for the third time, after presenting two flicks to the industry ‘Thanmatra’ and ‘Bhramaram’. As per buzzes their new project is titled as ‘Pranayam’.
According to sources, Pranayam narrates the yesteryear love story of three characters, which has real heart touching moments strewn across the tale. Its shooting will start next week at Kochi. Since Mohanlal is leaving for shooting in Abhu Dhabi, his combo scenes with Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada will be shot first.
Pranayam is being produced by Sanjiv and directed by Blessy, who has already worked with Mohanlal in films like Thanmatra (2005) and Bhramaram (2009). The film will have newcomer Satish Kurup's camerawork, ONV's lyrics and M Jayachandran's music.
Anupam Kher is debuting in South Indian cinema with this Malayalam film Pranayam. Jaya Prada has already acted in films of all south Indian languages. She has also worked with Mohanlal in Malayalam movie Devadoothan in 2000. This film will be her second movie with him.
Blessy has been acclaimed as a gifted movie maker and a trend setter in Malayalam movies as all his ventures has received wide response. ‘Thanmatra’ won the National award for the best Indian movie in 2006. Blessy started his career in 1986 as an assistant of director Padmarajan and he launched his first independent movie ‘Kazhcha’ in 2004. He has penned screen plays for all his five films and it will be so in ‘Pranayam’.
